Card services in your store will always mean there is potential for credit card fraud, so you should train yourself and staff to spot credit card scams. Most card services are based on a system of swiping the card and matching the signature, but many staff and stores fail to match the signature. This is usually due to the problems that arise when someone's credit card is denied, but it is important not to be lax. Avoiding credit card scams among your own staff is also important, as credit card skimming has become a huge problem. Try to set up your facilities for card services where customers should be able to see their card at all times, so that any suspicious employee activity is obvious.
